Birini Castle has accommodated a special piano made by a Latvian craftsman Karlis Engizers. We are grateful to Ruta Lukstina who made this present. In 1924, during the period of first Latvian independence, her father, Adolfs Lukstins, received this piano from the Birini civil parish authority as a reward for his self-denying work.
We have friends in Germany, who own the hotel in historical building as we do - "Gutshaus-Ludorf"
