Summer Café

In the summer season, an ethnic museum – cafee is open Wednesday - Sunday 11.00 - 18.00h in the Birini Castle Watermill, where you can enjoy some refreshments on the Terrace at the Watermill pond after a longer walk in the Birini Castle park. If you want to set up a picnic, there are picnic accessories for rent including frying pans for shashlik, grills, spits and have an available supply of firewood and coal at reasonable prices.

Nearby you will find the great swings, sliding hillside for children, croquet, and, in winter, the “leze” or ancient merry-go-round on ice. And remember that the Mill house bath is here also, with its separate outdoor terrace and fireplace.

If your party will have charges at the Castle Restaurant or Watermill's Café in excess of 10,- LVL, the entrance fee will be refunded.
